Purchases

Q: When will I be charged for my purchase?
A: Purchases will be added to your cart, and your card will be charged immediately upon checkout.

Q: How will I access my bonus download?
A: If your order includes any bonus content, we'll send you an email with a download link after your order ships. Print it or use it digitally. It's up to you!

Shipping

Q: Who pays for shipping?
A: Unless otherwise noted, you (the buyer) are responsible for covering all shipping costs.

Q: What carrier do you use for shipping?
A: We ship using Priority USPS.

Q: How long does it take to receive my order?
A: Please allow at least 3 - 5 days for shipping. However, due to unforeseen transit, weather, or nationwide conditions, we cannot guarantee this.

Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Not currently but we hope to in the future. Send an email to hello@themadeforbooks.com to let us know which country you hope we'll ship to next.

Refunds & Returns

Q: How long is your return policy good for?
A: Our policy lasts for 30 days. Unfortunately, 30 days after your purchase, we can no longer offer you a refund, return, or exchange.

Q: Am I eligible for a return?
A: To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Note, eBooks, digital downloads, and sale items cannot be returned.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted. These include a book with obvious signs of use, any item not in its original condition; that’s damaged; or is missing parts for reasons not due to our error, and any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Q: How does your return process work?
A: To complete your return, first email us at hello@themadeforbooks.com with your order number, receipt or proof of purchase, and an explanation of your situation. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

We’ll review your message and instruct you on how to ship your purchase back to us.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. It may take 2 - 3 weeks for the credit to show up on your statement.

If you don’t receive your approved refund, contact your credit card company as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at hello@themadeforbooks.com.

Q: Can I exchange my item for another?
A: We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at hello@themadeforbooks.com with your order number to inquire about an exchange.

Author Appearances

Q: Does Amanda Glass make author appearances?
A: She sure does! Amanda’s greatest joy is engaging young readers face-to-face. While she’ll spread smiles and encouragement by reading her books, Amanda will also engage students by giving them opportunities to reflect, ask questions, and talk about topics that matter to them.

Q: What will she do when she visits?
A: Her usual 45 to 60-minute presentation is perfect for kids ages 4 to 11 years and includes a book reading, brief message, discussion, activity time, and a book signing.

Q: How can I ask Amanda to appear at my school, library, or church?
A: You can start creating an unforgettable moment for your students today by emailing us at hello@themadeforbooks.com. Be sure to include your name, contact information, event details, audience description, honorarium, and any other important information we’d need to determine if we can make it.
